Week off

Well sort of - soccer is finished, hockey camp is finished and all we have on the calendar this week is dance. Nice to spend some time at home!

We had the Church Fall Supper this weekend and for the first time everyone volunteered. Aidan wrapped cutlery in napkins, Delaney and Sean cleared tables and Connor and I worked the door and let people in. It was good.

Mom is feeling a lot better. She's off with some friends on a trip they had planned to the States for a few days although she couldn't drive and probably didn't spend tons of time shopping. She's definitely getting over the infection and is on the mend.

Sean found someone to work part-time for him so he should be at home part-time soon. It's just sort of dawned on me that we will also have a quarter less income than we've been used to! I guess we'll have to cut back a bit, no more trips to Paris and Florida but we'll survive. We weren't really planning any major trips this year, so that's okay. It will be very nice for him to have the extra time to work on other things and for me to not have to rush, rush, rush all the time!
