Catching up

Just got back from Minneapolis and the NASIG conference. I really didn't want to go, but had a nice quiet time. Poor Sean though, left with the kids again. We are really looking forward to the summer, and we better get one this year!

I brought Aidan back a Pokemon Emerald book, and he studied it all day Sunday and half of Monday, then he played the game and won it. I think it's pretty good - even though it isn't something real, he is doing the research and applying what he's learned and he gets results. That's got to be a good thing in the long run.

Connor got a Nerf sling-shot with strict instructions not to shoot anybody. So far he hasn't, and the sling shot has been used to shoot at targets, as a space ship and as a super-fast racer. I think he was pretty happy with his gift too.

Delaney got a dress-up wedding dress. Afterwards we thought that it would actually suit for first communion, but she's already gotten spaghetti sauce on it - ah well. She wore the veil at brunch on Sunday and wore it all day after she got home. She mentioned to her dad that she might wear it at school and Tyler could wear his fancy tie... Sean told her to not even got there!

Brent and Toni are home with Grace tomorrow. We've been looking at pictures for the last two weeks and can't wait to see her in person! I'm really hoping Colleen and Rocco will be able to come and visit so we can get Grace and Bianca together. They are about 8 months apart (Bianca is 18 months and Grace is 10 months) so would be good pals. And my three would be able to split their attention between 2 instead of all hovering around one of their cousins. They are baby-crazy kids! We're going to go to the airport quickly tonight to get a sneak peek, but it will be just that. I'm sure they will be exhausted. But, we'll take some pictures and be sure to post them.
