Hamster update

It survived. Daisy spent a lot of the weekend on Connor's bed staring up at the hamster cage on his top shelf, but they managed to keep the cats away when they took the hamster out of it's cage. I think Mme was as happy as we were to get him back safe and sound. She's leaving the school after this year, and Delaney is so disappointed that she won't have her as a teacher! I was looking forward to it as well, but I hope they have hired good teachers. The grade 2 teacher is also retiring, so Connor is going to be getting a new teacher too. He's only had this one teacher since she moved on to grade 1 with them. I think the new teache is coming in to meet the class and they also told me that we could go visit her at the school at the end of summer. I think that will probably be a good thing so that Connor is a bit more familiar with the situation and won't get stressed out before he goes back to school. Yikes, all three in school! And the same school, which will make my life quite a bit easier!
